Good company, becoming too expensive over time Company treats return customers well. Could work on communication (difficulty reaching people via phone during the day, things not explained clearly, mistakes in documentation). While they do offer some trips with no single supplement (limited to only cruises and just a few cabins), overall their single supplements are overpriced. I have been traveling with them for >10 years and they are pricing themselves out of the market. They need to add more unique trips for the 40-60 age group (active but not athletic). They are nature focused and have a good presence in S. Amer, but missing some key destinations like Brazil (Pantanal) and Panama (these are only offered for a custom trip which is not affordable). Their guides are some of the best I've had, always knowledgeable and friendly.

Totally Exceeded My Expectations International Expeditions so exceeded my expectations that I cannot describe adequately my appreciation. Every moment from the time our group arrived in Peru until we left was filled with great guides, accommodations, transportation and food. There was never a minute when we were not impressed. I have traveled with IE at least 6… I have traveled with IE at least 6 times and have experienced nothing but very high satisfaction with all aspects of the trips. The guides are exceptional. They have solid knowledge of the cultures and of the natural history of the area. They are organized and always congenial, and go out of their way to meet any special needs or requests of individual travelers. Accommodations are comfortable, clean, and well situated in the site of the visit. Transportation, be it bus or boat, fully meets the needs of the passengers. I look forward to my IE travels knowing I will be extremely happy with my trip experience.

Exceptional Experience! When my daughter graduated from High School we decided to take an adventurous trip trip to Peru with International Expeditions. The trip was exceptional from every perspective. The educated guide, exquisite hotels, great food, unexpected experiences and a dynamic itinerary made for a memorable experience beyond expectations.

I have traveled with IE to Kenya I have traveled with IE to Kenya, Tanzania, Panama, Galapagos, Cuba, the Bahamas and Ecuador. Always carefully planned, excellent transportation, SMALL groups, 4-star+ accommodations, expert guides. Food far exceeded expectations. Never struggled with luggage nor visas, tipping, etc. Real pros. Focus has been nature oriented travel.
