Off the beaten path tour of Loire… Off the beaten path tour of Loire Valley was wonderful! Every day was a new experience traveling comfortably by van while staying in the same lovely hotel with breakfast included each morning! We saw several castles, a local winery with a catered lunch and 2 cooking classes with renowned chefs complete with dinner and wine afterwards. C’est magnifeat! Would recommend this tour immensely!

This was a trip of a lifetime This was a trip of a lifetime! Everything was superb. Gourmet meals. Active, but not-rushed, schedule. And, of course, wonderful wine. Most important, though, our guides Philippe and Summer (as well as our driver, Philippe… yes, two Philippes!) were knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating. They even provided a special last night dinner birthday celebration upon request. Beyond!

Excellent Experirence We had a group of 8 individuals comprised of nieces, aunts, sisters and a sister in law. Christy, Phillipe and Summer guided our group every day with love and care. By the end we felt they were friends. The destinations were photogenic and filled with lavender, poppies, history and beautiful scenery. The food was exceptional and a true taste of France. We are definitely considering joining Christy in the Loire Valley next!

A Week in Provence A great fun week in Provence with Christy and our very capable guides, Phillipe and David. A wide range of activities, walking, fine dining, wine tasting, cooking classes and chocolate making. Our fellow travelers were all from the US and just the nicest people. The Cassis trip was a little long and may have benefited from a group lunch and slightly earlier departure time. Hotel Gounod was, for us, with a large bedroom, rustic and enjoyable, though, as Kiwis, we missed the opportunity to make a hot tea brew in our room, as there was no in room kettle. Minor points though, that did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

Lovely 5 days Lovely 5 days. One hotel and reasonable pace of activities, not to mention the perfect weather made for an enjoyable " tour". Highlights were wine tasting and lunch in Chateau Neuf de Pape and swimming in the sea in the pretty town of Cassis. Despite how close to perfect it all was I still find the cost to be very high. I guess my Canadian dollar doesn't go very far!
