ARBest thing I've done! I had such an incredible experience with my first Remote Year program in Floripa! It was perfect for me as someone who wanted to travel and work remotely, without the pressure of finding my own community abroad. There are so many opportunities for fun activities to explore the area and immerse in the culture, all planned by the amazing city manager, Thiago.

NLGreat Community Lead and living… Great Community Lead and living location. Solid experiences but wish they were more affordable. Need to share full price estimates for traveling other places (eg flights and transport out-of-pocket). Wish there were more community-building activities that created more of a bond amongst travelers who didn’t partake in the experiences.

DEMedellin fun city, don't be too worried about security My month in Medellin was awesome. The city has so much to offer, Dancing (Salsa, Bachata), Bars, Museums, very goo restaurants and a lot of nature. I was also a person who heard a lot of bad news about safeness in Medellin, but it is not as bad as the news say. The city managerin Cata gives you all the informations where you can go and when you have to be a bit more careful. She is always there for you and will help you. In the area where Remote year stays you can easily walk around on your own during the day. I will definitly come back to Medellin. It was a beautiful month. And it is a vibe to live between mountains in a tropical area. Thanks for this month to the whole team in Medellin, especially Cata (City Managerin) and Omar (Community Leader), to made this an unforgettable month.

ARMy one-month experience with Remote… My one-month experience with Remote Year in Buenos Aires was incredible! They created an amazing sense of community among the participants, planned wonderful events and activities, and made us feel at home. I will definitely do another RY experience!

COEnjoying the city of Medellin I have truly had a wonderful experience here in Medellin, Santa Marta and the countryside. Before coming to visit this country, friends and family expressed fear in my coming because of their unfounded thoughts of danger. My experiences have truly dispelled those misconceptions. The people I have encountered throughout my stay have truly been very heartfelt, open and welcoming. By becoming friends with individuals, I have come to appreciate how one's culture has truly been trying to overcome aversity and social struggles by expressing their openness to accepting and welcoming others from around the world. I would truly recommend others to experience the richness and openess of such a beautiful spot in this portion of the world.
