COGo to Medellin! You won’t regret it I love Remote Year and our city manager Cata was amazing! This was my first time in Colombia and it was everything I hoped it would be. Medellin is clean, beautiful, and felt completely safe. If you’re thinking of Colombia or doing Remote Year, this will be a great place to start.

NLGreat Community Lead and living… Great Community Lead and living location. Solid experiences but wish they were more affordable. Need to share full price estimates for traveling other places (eg flights and transport out-of-pocket). Wish there were more community-building activities that created more of a bond amongst travelers who didn’t partake in the experiences.

HRWhat are you waiting for? Book the trip! Remote Year is an amazing work travel company with a wonderful community. Having done multiple RY programs I'm continually impressed by the care and helpfulness of the staff that I interact with on a daily basis. The community of people on Remote Year make every bit of the experience. I always have such a good time on a Remote Year program. Cape Town is a city with such rich experiences that is not to be missed. The accommodations, workspace and activities are all top notch for Cape Town.

GBMy month in Floripa My month in Floripa, Brazil absolutely exceeded my expectations! The accommodations and workspace were modern and well-maintained. And everyone - from the City Manager, to the vendors, to the coworking members - was so welcoming and ensured you were having a positive experience. As a solo female traveler, ensuring safety ranks high on my list of priorities, and Remote Year provided complete peace of mind in that regard. If you're lucky enough to have the chance to live in Floripa, DO IT!

GBFelt safe and comfortable in Medellin! Medellin was lovely, safe, and welcoming. I felt that all the places Remote Year and their vendors took me were safe. They provided clear and continuous guidance and recommendations, which were easy to follow and made me feel comfortable while exploring. I encourage perspective travelers to resist preconceived notions and stereotypes regarding Medellin and visit it with the same common sense and travelers' mentality as any other new city.
