Vanessa planned a perfect dream trip for us We just returned from a dream trip to Australia and New Zealand planned by Vanessa. We snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef, cuddled a koala in Port Douglas, saw kangaroos and tons of wildlife on Kangaroo Island, toured the Opera House in Sydney, enjoyed the spectacular views in Queenstown, the rainforest of Doubtful Sound and the beach life on Waiheke Island. Overall excellent Overall excellent. All accommodations but one were superb. Glad to have done Franz Josef Glacier helicopter trip, but no need to have spent two nights there. Trans Alpine train was disappointing. Would have appreciated warning on road closure for drive to Kaikoura. Kaikoura Whale Watch was disappointing. Azur and Hakupu Lodges were lovely. Wilderness Lodge was a fantastic experience. Four wheel drive in Queenstown and Dolphin Cruise in Kaikoura were excellent.

We spent time off the beaten path with terrific nature and animal experiences. We spoke with locals who weren't even aware of some of the places we visited. Visited - Port Douglas, Sydney, Nungurner, Inverloch
