GBWe rented a villa in Italy We rented a villa in Italy. After paying in full, we were told the villa owner came under financial difficulties and the villa was sold. They offered to refund our money, I accepted that offer and have been ghosted by the numerous employees we have attempted to contact since. After the last "I'll check in with accounting on your refund"...not a word. All of this, of course, i have in writing in an email chain.

GBDon't Trust This Company We pre-paid $1,775 for an Italian villa through Rentvillas.com and two months before departure, was contacted by the CEO that they were unable to make the payment to the villa and we would need to pay the fees directly to the villa--again--if we wished to keep the reservation. Crushing, given we had saved for two years for this trip. CEO promised to reimburse us after selling some assets but it's been 5 months and he stopped responding after a couple months.

GBWe rented a villa on Amalfi Coast We rented a villa on Amalfi Coast, Italy for two weeks. The day before our departure (group of 29) we received an email from RentVillas.com, and a series of total lies began (rentvillas said the owners of the villa would lock us out and we would not get possession of the villa if we didn’t work with them to help remedy a situation that had developed (through no fault of ours). A series of conversations with rentvilllas and our credit card company ensued, and we had to jump through hoops to gain access, even going through the credit card company that we had used for the deposit. We became good friends with the owner (whose daughter was the property manager,) and she told us they had not been contacted from anyone with rentvillas! When we returned home, we found that they had finagled our credit card company to “chargeback” our deposit of over $14,000, then our credit card company wouldn’t reverse the charge because it was over the time limit for us to file for a refund! Rentvillas.com totally cheated us out of that hard-earned money ! They are total crooks, even lying about the Italian middle man saying the owners of the villa would not allow us access to the property even though we had paid for the two weeks in full! Whatever you do, don’t do business with this company!!! They are unscrupulous crooks who are cheating their customers out of tons of money. We tried fighting this as hard as we could but our credit card company would not help us so we had to “eat” the $14,000.

CAAwesome time in Tuscany Six of us women from Canada had an absolutely wonderful time at our villa in Tuscany. Alessandro was an awesome chef and prepared us a wonderful meal. The villa was beautiful and so welcome to come home to after a day of excursions. Highly recommend Poggio Antico villa and the truffle experience, wine tour, and cooking classes. Renata gave some us some tips on touring Florence and the local area. Have put it on our have to go back again!!!

GBWeb Site Tremendous! You have a tremendous web site, really easy to use, user friendly, and I like the reviews. I have utilized you Three times. I normally book far out in advance (year or More) and with my work load I do not always remember process and updates, so sometimes I will email questions. Kind of feel like I am bugging them by asking questions. Sometimes the questions will be repetitive because I forgot from six months ago when I first asked, and I will get an email of the email sent six months ago, kind of like why don't you do your homework we already emailed you the same information six months ago. Which unfortunately due to volume of emails sometimes it is easier to just ask the question than do the research and it appears that is annoying to the RentVilla team. However, I love the web site, but kind of feel like I am a nuisance. Anyway hope this information helps.
