CAI purchased my hotel stay last year I purchased my hotel stay last year. When I went to look at booking dates I discovered your no longer operational, with no email explanation. I followed the link requesting my refund in January, 2022. Still no confirmation. It says it will be refunded in 90 days. NOT TRUE!! It is now MAY and still no refund. I am writing to express my unhappiness and request this be address immediately.

HUScammed by unsold - but recovered via card provider Although unsold was a scam that ripped me of 2 prepaid trips and bankrupted days before my planned stay - beforehand not even offering available places on 1st week of August 2021, so definitely planned - I am grateful to VISA - my credit card provider. I made a complaint there and in my November statement I can see the paid amounts recovered. Well done, VISA. I encourage all clients scammed by unsold.com to complain with their credit card company.

GBLike everyone else here I got duped… Like everyone else here I got duped into buying a trip that never eventuated because they were a SCAM from day 1. When I went to book the hotel I found out they had closed down 14 months after purchasing hotel stay. Because it had been so long since I purchased the trip on my credit card I couldn't even claim it as fraudulent. How these people sleep at night with stealing people's hard earned money I'll never know but you won't live a pretty life with this over your heads forever!

CAThey have totally scammed us out of… They have totally scammed us out of money & Expedia is all part of it. Our hotel booking was made before them going under & it was prepaid by Expedia even though booked through unsold. Another company Restel Travel is involved. I spoke with Expedia & they assured me reservation was non refundable & could not be cancelled & then the next day they cancelled it with excuse covid restrictions. Very little help through expedia. They are culpable as well.
