GBNever rent through vacassa website We rented a house with a heated pool. Actually had to pay an extra $65/day to heat. When I called to pay for the heat it took 35 minuets on the phone. 4 days later I noticed I had not been charged. After many phone calls they confirm the pool had been out of heat for 2 months. They refused to refund my $7000. Luckily I had rented through Airb&b and they refunded the full amount.

GBThe place was lovely- but a little run… The place was lovely- but a little run down. I don't think housekeeping did a very thorough cleaning. The carpet needs cleaning- perhaps milk was spilled. It didn't smell very pleasant. The disposal did not work either which could have been part of the problem. Housekeeping was not responsive and we did not get our requested items- toilet paper, dish towels, sponge, or dish washer soap- until Saturday They did tell me they refunded our cleaning fee.

GBWill not return Will not return. We weren’t told about the keyless entry & weren’t provided the code to enter the unit or the gate. We were treated as if we were dishonest (even though i provided all confirmation numbers & dates requested). Summary of my most memorable: 2 elderly women; 5 nights. 2 rolls of bath tissue and 2 wash cloths for the entire stay. Ran out of tissue 3 days into the stay. We requested more tissue and additional wash cloths. We were told we had used our "allotted amounts" and if we wanted more then we would would need to buy it ourselves!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN; however I have a lifetime of unpleasant stories to share with folks about VACASA (and I will)! Following up on VACASA’s response …. I searched my entire email box and there was no email that provided codes, etc. AND it’s good to know that I am expected to buy basic supplies. I can’t fathom any reason why I do any Air BNB in the future. Did our own cleaning. Washed our dishes beforehand because they were not clean, had to remove our garbage into a dumpster (in the rain) that was nearly as tall as me. And now im told i should expect to cover the cost (and do the shopping) for basic supplies. I will go to a hotel next time.

GBThe condo was the cleanest I've been… The condo was the cleanest I've been in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will be staying again sometime in the near future. Will definitely be recommending.

GBOceanfront House in Waves, NC The house was beautiful, with great amenities, including a pool and hot tub. The five main bedrooms all had king-sized beds and full bathrooms. There were three rooms with an ocean view and all seven bedrooms had access to a balcony. The main living space was overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the most incredible sunrises. This oceanfront home is one I would stay at again. Customer service was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. The booking process was easy. The check-in and check-out processes were convenient and simple. With a keyless entry, the house was locked and easy to access when we arrived. It could have been a bit cleaner, as there was a bit of crusty stuff on top of the stove, and the floor had some dust. Overall, the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable, so a minor issue. I highly recommend this property.
