I got it for my son and was recommended to me by his coach. I was asking what I can do to help him as a beginning player and was looking at this and a shooting pad. My son's coach said that in any level, stick handling is important, it doesn't matter how fast you can skate if you can't get the puck where you need it. Highly recommended.
