I’m an amputee and I use my Xootr traveling 2.5 mile to and 2.5 miles from school every weekend in NYC in lower Manhattan going to @instatute of culinary education NY. No streets are worse than NYC but the Xootr delivers a smooth ride regardless of the road conditions. I’d buy a Xootr again and again but you don’t have to you buy it once and and you’ve got reliable transportation for miles to come. Xootr made this amputees dream of going culinary school a reality! Almost perfect, best in market today. to make it easy and quick: In my opinion, this is the best kick scooter in the market today for any age, but, in particular, for adults. Still, I'd like Xootr to add a little kickstand like the one that came standard with my other kick scooter from the closer competitor brand. That addition will make it almost perfect and I'll really appreciate it.

I love my scooter so much I love my scooter so much, it's super convenient for campus life and helpful with classes that have little time gaps. The only thing that I didn't realise was that it can hurt your legs a bit from standing on one and pushing with the other but I've read that it's great exercise so I'm okay with it.

Good product Good product. I like my original Xootr in some ways more. This is my second Xootr. I eventually wore out the front forks on my first one.The new one has less ground clearance than the old one due to the new designed deck. I bottom out on places I never did before on my commute. This is a definite hazard at low speed on uneven sidewalks. Not a big fan of having to touch the button with my hand to open the scooter. Found opening the scooter with my foot to be awkward & unreliable. Using my hand to open & close is the best way. For a positive, the craftsmanship is top notch & you can buy replacement parts. Scooter should be durable like my original one.

Awesome scooter; questionable QA Awesome scooter and great customer service. Questionable quality control. Unfortunately, my scooter shipped with screws holding the collar and the handle bars to the frame that were too small causing them to strip after 3 months of very light use (failing on the second day of a two week vacation with my 10 year old daughter). Could have been serious if they failed at speed. Luckily customer service was quick to acknowledge the error and approve the repair (nothing could be done for my vacation, though). It came back repaired in short order. Customer service follow up has also been incredibly impressive.
