GBI didn't think it could work but I'm glad I was wrong I didn't think it could work but I was wrong. I have a couple midsized venues and during this time it has just been about absolute sh** with all that's going on. I've somehow managed to get some small events a lot of micro weddings, intimate family gatherings, it's mainly because we have outdoor areas at all our spaces and our capacities are relatively low. Eventors came up to me asking to partner with them, and I haven't regret it since. At first I was like, what are these people spewing, but I see it, this marketplace is really working for me as a venue space. It makes it so much easier for people to book my spaces bc of my preferred vendor list, people come to the viewings and say they need to re-plan their wedding or birthday party or baby shower, and I just give them a link to the site and they can find everything they need. If you're a venue owner and don't have a preferred vendor list, I HIGHLY recommend you get one now with Eventors. Only the big venues could really do this type of thing, and now I see why. With Eventors I now have my own preferred vendor list and make commissions on everything my clients book. I'm definitely not making as much as I was before this pandemic, but at least I can make up for some of the loss with the bookings I do have coming in
