GBThe onboarding process was a bit… The onboarding process was a bit confusing. There didn't seem to be any real chapter leadership. I want a local chapter that is going to have regular meetings online or in person and that wasn't the case here. Also, when I asked about in-person events I was told it was the members' responsibility to put them together. I don't have time for that nor do I want to do that. I want to join a networking group that takes care of the details and brings people together for networking! Also, the two events that I did go to were poorly run. They were shopping and exercise events -- not what I would call business networking. I did not see the value of being a member so I didn't continue with the group.

GBSneaky membership renewal practice.. They renewed my membership (after a year) with absolutely zero emails stating "your membership is renewing!" or notice. When I am renewing others' charges, they get a notice saying they'll be charged and when. Especially after a year, a warning is a business practice that tells your customers you stand by your product and don't have to sneak a $350 charge that they don't remember. Then, when I asked for a refund, they refunded all but $75. Why keep the $75? And no one responded to my email.

GBHeyMama may need a refresh! HeyMama is a good group, but seems to be slightly misguided currently. They have too many events, all over the place, and don't do a good job promoting them. I think they also are misreading their audience and should consider taking a step back to regroup. It also seems to be heavily skewed toward mom products and a mom audience rather than a working mom business group overall.

GBI recently joined HeyMama a few months… I recently joined HeyMama a few months ago. I attended an event in Seaport and wasn't sure what to expect. But it was run so well and was full of great connections! I loved how at the beginning we were free to mingle, introduce ourselves to people and shop. But then to end the night with like minded woman around a circle to discuss different challenges you may be facing or accomplishments you may have achieved was so beneficial. I look forward to the many more events they put on in the future!

GBI recently joined Hey Mama and am so impressed! I recently joined Hey Mama and have been pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome into the community. I am also impressed by how organized and structured everything is. It is evident that the community is comprised of high quality and engaged women who want to share and learn from each other. I am very much looking forward to contributing and learning from this new group.
