Weak hood spring with optics cover… There was a notice on the website about expecting a delay in orders up to 10 days. After 15 days I had to email to check on order status. After an additional delay in shipping I received my holster. In one of CompTac’s YouTube videos detailing and introducing the CT3 holster, Gordon Carroll the HSG GM, makes a point of the holster hood making an audible “CLICK” when released. My holster has an optics cover and when the hood is released, the hood does not “click” open nor does it open completely. If the optics cover is not closed, the hood will open fully. I believe the spring in the hood is too weak for both the hood and optics cover. This makes me concerned regarding longevity, if the spring is weak now, how will the hood and optics cover release fully years from now?

PLM V2/Poor recommendations Contacted Comp Tac directly about a better mounting solution for my CT3 on a thin Safelife belt. The holster currently slides freely even tho it’s a 2” belt and mounted correctly. Was recommended the PLM v2. Purchased this item right away. The item completely changes how the holster sits height wise and renders it useless for my duty capacity, and STILL allows it to slide. Doubly worthless. I feel ripped off and that the comp tac personnel didn’t truly try to help me at all.

I'd Give 10 Stars for Quality and Function Alone! Recently added some new International Holsters from Comp-Tac and they are perfect! Great quality holsters, lots of options to wear, and damn fine looking too! Simple things like great hardware, the gun model on the holster, rounded edges, all top of the line. You can find cheaper, but you won't find cheaper better ever. I also ONLY use Comp-Tac MTAC for CCW. My drawer has one for every pistol I conceal carry. Top Notch!!!
