The staff at the Duke Street branch… The staff at the Duke Street branch couldn't be more helpful with quick and prompt can do attitude nothing was any bother I attended the store with my autistic son and they made him feel at ease straight away due to adverse weather conditions I was unable to return the kilt until a day later all this was completely understandable by the staff members as I'd phoned ahead the previous day to notify them of the issue I've discussed with them of a wedding coming up in 2024 where I'm best man which we will require 20+ kilts at least and I'm liasonin with the groom at the moment to see where is best for the hire and what deal we'll be able to get but 100% recommend for punctuality and professionalism

Free kilt hire from Slanj for recent Glasgow kiltwalk I recently took part in the Glasgow kiltwalk, On the day I wore a lovely kilt from Slanj,free of charge to kilt walkers,I went in got measured up and picked the kilt up 2 days before the event and returned it 2 days later,I even got to pick my choice of tartan! The staff in the shop were very nice and friendly and they too were taking part in the kiltwalk. I would recommend Slanj kilts to anyone looking to hire a kilt as they have some beautiful kilts, tartan trousers, jackets etc.

Hired clothing was too lose - many previous wearers? Having had excellent service in Bath St, or so I thought, I tried on the hired kilt set in Duke St. and found all items were too baggy. Clearly, try-on items are much less worn & therefore nearer their original size. No matter; all items inc. shoes were efficiently and, without quibble, re-issued to fit. However, after less than a hour of wear the soles on both shoes became lose and when leaving the venue to change into my non-dress shoes I just happened to have with me, the now lose soul caught on a carpet tripping me up. My issue is not the faulty hire as such (although clearly this is a result of poor checking or perhaps a sloppy repair) but I was simply told “that’s what can happen with shoes” and a brief apology. I asked, “is that all you can do about it?” and when the same answer was given, I couldn’t be bothered taking the issue further and walked out without comment. Surely, this company with such a good reputation could have a better initial reply? PS: Once home, further contact was made and I understand some financial settlement was to be offered but the damage was done, I’d had a good day at the event and didn’t need to take this further.
