GBI always rely on speedtest to check who… I always rely on speedtest to check who is slow here - me or the site. Whenever it tells me that I'm fast I feel relieved and continue searching on other sites. I like the opportunity to check the speed in the new places I go. I always use speedtest and the only thing annoying me is the amount of ads. It makes the whole page flashy and disturbing.

GBIt's ironic... It's ironic, because every time I visit this site, the connection speed goes down for all users of my WiFi. This will of course mean the site shows my speed as slow, (which it, itself is causing). This means that I can't get any accuracy.

GBSCAM BEWARE Speed test called me yesterday and today pretending to be from sky. When I wouldn’t go to the web address given, the man started shouting “you stupid stupid woman!” At which point I said I was reporting the call to the action fraud UK (which I did), and was told by the “sky” employee to F*%K off. Called sky to report it. Never type in a web address from a cold caller.

GBSpeedtest.net isn't the problem Speedtest.net isn't the problem. The people who ring claiming to be from BT, use speedtest.net to get an idea of the speed you currently have, then they'll ask you to open another window on your browser, input some address and follow their instruction. That's where the real problem is. Don't type the address in. Hang up.
